VAN BUREN ST STATION
OCTOBER 2022

tags: architecture, illustrationalong with a group of other architecture students, i measured the well known van buren street metra station in the chicago loop. it was originally designed to look like stations in france, and there were discissions about redesigning and tearing down this historical monument. 

my class decided to draw all possible architectural elements of the station, detail views, all elevations, etc all to exact scale. i was tasked with the front elevation.
